Quick Reference Guide

Please note our return policy has been updated as of October 19th, 2021. For your convenience, we have set forth a few of our policies in bullet point format for your quick reference.

  • We happily accept returns of most new items within 30 days of the date of purchase for store credit.
  • We do not return final sale, clearance, used, ripped, worn, custom-made or stained items.
  • We must receive your return within 15 days of your return request.
  • We must be notified within 7 days of receiving your items of any problems or damages to your order, otherwise they will not be eligible for a return.
  • Non Expedited Shipping orders take 2-3 business days to be processed, and are typically received within 4-7 business days after being shipped.
  • My Gypsy Child is not responsible for lost or stolen products marked as delivered by the Post Office. If USPS confirms delivery to the correct address, we are unable to provide a replacement or refund for your order.
  • It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure the shipping address is entered correctly during the checkout process. My Gypsy Child will not replace or refund lost orders correctly delivered to the provided shipping address.
  • Please allow 3-5 business days for your return to arrive at our warehouse, and 3-5 business days for our team to process your return.
  • The amount refunded includes only the original purchase price of the products, and does not include original shipping charges. We do not refund shipping charges paid at the time of order or paid to return the item.

We know sometimes it doesn’t work out. We’re here to help!

We happily accept returns of most items within 30 days of the date of purchase. Items must be unworn, unwashed, in new condition, unaltered, free of hair, deodorant, makeup, stains, smells, rips, etc and fit for resale.  Items found damaged or used will not be eligible for return. Purchase verification is required on all returns. No returns on earrings, clearance, as-is, or final sale items.

My Gypsy Child reserves the right to deduct appropriate shipping charges from any returned item that doesn't qualify for the correct return reason or meet our product quality standards. Returned items that are worn, washed, damaged (except for manufacturer defects), or are past the return period will be refused. The amount refunded includes only the original purchase price of products, and does not include original shipping charges. We do not refund shipping charges paid at the time of order, or that you may pay to return items to us.

 

Online Returns

What Do We Accept as Returns?

Your items must be unworn, unwashed, in new condition to be eligible for a return. We do not accept returns on earrings, clearance items, as-is, or items marked as final sale. These items will be clearly marked at the time of sale.You must request a return within 30 days of purchasing your item to obtain a return authorization. Any unauthorized returns will be returned at sender's expense.

The product’s color representation online may vary from the exact color of the merchandise due to photography lenses, lighting conditions, and computer monitor used. Clothing patterns may also vary. These differences do not qualify as defects or damages and will be subject to the same return policies as all other products. We must receive your return within 15 days of the date you request a return on our returns portal. Returns not received within 15 days of a return request will be automatically cancelled. Cancelled returns will not be processed for store credit, and will be shipped back at sender's expense.

 

How to Return an Item Purchased Online:

Please include your packing slip or a note with your name and order number in your return package. Failure to do so will cause significant delays in processing your return.
You will be sent an email with return instructions after your return has been requested.
My Gypsy Child does not refund the cost of original or return shipping. We must receive your return within 15 days of the date you request a return on our returns portal. Returns not received within 15 days of a return request will be automatically cancelled. Cancelled returns will be returned to sender, at sender’s expense.
You are responsible for return shipping. We do not provide shipping labels to return items.
Once we receive your return we will process your items as fast as possible, typically within 4-5 business days. You will receive an email notification when your return has completed processing.

 

Coupon Codes

Unless specifically stated, discount codes cannot be combined with other coupon codes to purchase merchandise. Coupon codes do not apply to sale items, unless specifically stated otherwise. Coupon codes must be used at the time of purchase, and cannot be applied retroactively. Use of a coupon on our site indicates you have read and accepted all the terms and conditions that apply to the specific discount, and to purchasing from us through our website. Coupon codes and promotional discounts do not carry over to exchanged items, unless the new item for exchange is the same product style as the previous purchase.

 

Shipping Policy

Orders with standard shipping will usually be processed and shipped within 3-5 business days. Processing and shipping times do not include weekends and holidays, which may delay your order. Other variables out of our control, including inclement weather, may have an impact on shipping times.

You will receive an email containing shipping and tracking information once your order has shipped. If you do not receive the email, please check your junk or spam folders. If you cannot locate the email, send us an email to info@mygypsychild.com and we will provide you with the shipping information for your order.

If your order has different billing and shipping addresses we will reach out to you to confirm your order. We do this in an effort to minimize fraud, and to confirm the shipping address. We employ an address verification service in partnership with the USPS to automatically verify all addresses. If our automated systems cannot verify your shipping address, we will contact you to verify your shipping address. Both of these situations may delay the processing and shipping times for your order if we cannot reach you prior to shipping your order.

Please advise if you need your order by a certain date, contact us BEFORE your order is placed to make arrangements.

If we receive a package back from the shipping carrier due to the address provided being undeliverable, you are responsible for contacting us and paying the full shipping cost for your item to be reshipped. For any returns on that order, we are unable to refund the cost originally paid for shipping.

Standard Shipping

All orders shipped within the continental USA over $500 receive free standard shipping.

Orders shipped via standard shipping will be processed and shipped within 3-5 business days, and will be received within 4-7 business days. The cost for Standard shipping on orders under $500 is calculated at the checkout.

Lost Packages

If your order does not arrive on time or is lost in transit, we will open an investigation with the shipping carrier. This process can take up to two weeks for the investigation to be completed.

Once the investigation is complete, if your order is confirmed as lost in transit or delivered to a different address than the one provided at checkout, we will replace your items if they are still available. If we cannot replace them, then we will refund your order, as well as any shipping costs. If the shipping carrier confirms delivery to the correct address, we are unable to issue a refund.

My Gypsy Child is not responsible for products marked as delivered by the Post Office. If your tracking information is marked as delivered, but you have not received your items, we recommend waiting another 24-48 hours for your items to be delivered, as USPS can often be delayed on their end. We also recommend checking with nearby neighbors, as occasionally the post office will deliver to a nearby address by mistake.

If you still have not received your order we recommend filing an inquiry with the courier directly. We are happy to help provide any necessary information needed during the inquiry process, however, if USPS confirms the correct delivery of your order, we are unable to provide a replacement or refund for your order.

It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure the shipping address is entered correctly during the checkout process. My Gypsy Child will not replace or refund any orders delivered to the provided shipping address.
